An Apology to Silo23

Hey everyone,

Alex John Baptiste here.
This post is going to be a little different — not about FluxOS, not about FluxChip, not about the next big release. It’s something I need to say publicly.

I owe Silo23 an apology.
A real one.

Over the past few months, there were... situations where I acted impulsively. I said some things, asked for things, crossed boundaries that I really shouldn’t have. At the time, I didn’t think about it — I was caught up in my own world, my own goals, my own energy.
But I’ve had time to reflect.

Silo23 isn’t just another random face in the crowd.
He’s someone who’s been around a lot longer than me. Someone who's seen more, done more, and honestly deserves a lot more respect than I gave him.

When I realized he’s much older than me — not just a few years, but decades ahead in life experience — it hit me.
I shouldn’t have asked him that stuff.
It wasn’t fair. It wasn’t appropriate. It wasn’t right.

And for that, I’m sorry. Truly.

Owning Mistakes

Part of building something bigger than yourself — whether it’s an OS, a movement, or just your own life — is being able to stop and say, “Yeah, I messed up.”
I’m not above that.
Nobody should be.

Moving Forward

I’m not asking for forgiveness.
Silo23 doesn’t owe me anything.
But I am promising to do better — to think before I speak, to respect boundaries, and to treat the people around me (especially the ones who have been through more than I can even imagine) the way they deserve to be treated.

If you’ve been supporting me through the highs and the lows — thank you.
And if you’ve been someone I pushed too far without realizing it — know that I see it now.

We keep moving forward.
We keep building.
We stay Flux — but we stay human, too.

Thanks for reading.

—Alex
