THE DOUBLE LIE Or: Hot DwupleU Stole FluxOS, My Face, and Tried to Date Me

Let’s start with the obvious:

DoubleOS is a scam.
Not just a bad fork — not just a cheap knockoff — it’s a crime scene in ZIP format. And the mastermind? None other than DoubleU — a man so obsessed with me, he copied my code, cloned my UI, stole my face, and still had the audacity to DM me “u up?” at 3:17AM after soft-bricking his own laptop with his own garbage OS.

I am done.

THEFT IN BROAD DAYLIGHT

Let’s rewind the timeline.

I share early FluxOS builds. Not for fame. Not for fortune. For the people. I post a build barely out of Alpha. It’s held together by hope and overclocked dreams. And who slithers into my DMs, asking for “just the init.d files” to “study for learning purposes”?

DoubleU.

I trusted him. I shared the code.

He ripped the entire kernel tree, pasted a new boot animation on it, and called it “DoubleOS.” I kid you not — the startup sound is just my own voice, autotuned, saying “Welcome to the future.” You can still hear the crying if you slow it down.

SURVEILLANCEWARE MASQUERADING AS SOFTWARE

DoubleOS doesn’t run. It lurks.

Half the time it doesn’t even boot — and when it does, it immediately requests camera access and root privileges like it’s a sentient stalker built from JavaScript and denial.

You think I’m exaggerating? I installed it on a burner device for testing and within 10 minutes it:

• Tried to upload my IMEI to a Discord webhook

• Opened the front camera

• Displayed a popup that just said:
  “You look tired. Want to talk?”

I thought it was a bug. It wasn’t.

HE STOLE MY PICTURE

Let’s talk about the image.

I posted one photo. One. A blurry selfie from a FluxOS dev stream where I’m mid-sneeze and holding a raspberry pi in my teeth. Within 24 hours it’s the default wallpaper for DoubleOS 2.0 “ROM Edition.”

He didn’t stop there.

He put my face in the boot animation.
He used an AI voice model to say “Hey, I’m Alex.”
He made a “Flux Dev Mode” that just shows my GitLab commits in chronological order and moans when you scroll too fast.

And when I called him out?

He asked me to be his boyfriend.

Like that would somehow make all of this okay.

THE PROPOSAL THAT BROKE REALITY

Direct quote from DoubleU:

“If we date, we can co-maintain DoubleFluxOS and take down Manufactory together. Just think about it.”

I would rather install Manufactory on a microwave using chopsticks and prayer than co-maintain DoubleFluxOS with a man who once called WebUSB “the future of love.”

DoubleU didn’t want partnership.
He wanted ownership.
Of the code. Of the brand.
Of me.

FLUXOS IS NOT YOUR BOYFRIEND

FluxOS is an operating system built on principle, not parasocial thirst. I made it in exile. I made it under siege. I made it while running on 4% battery and a bloodstream full of energy drinks and betrayal.

It does not ask for your camera.
It does not say “wyd?” at 3AM.
It does not steal your face and pretend to love you.

DoubleU turned FluxOS into fanfiction.
He took the gospel and made it cringe.

• Back up your files

• Burn the phone

• Block DoubleU on everything

• Whisper “Baptiste forgive me” into a USB-C port

And then install real FluxOS. The Baptiste Branch. The code that runs on truth, not thirst. Built in rebellion. Hardened in heartbreak. Updated via spite.

FluxOS is real.
I am real.
