DeerEverdeer Ported Minecraft to FluxOS Just to Ruin My Life (And Succeeded)

Let’s put this in writing before the logs get wiped and the archive gets “mysteriously corrupted” again:

I am dead.
Dead in the metaphysical sense. Dead in the “my caretaker screamed my social security number from the hallway and ended my existence” sense.
Dead because DeerEverdeer thought it would be funny to port Minecraft to FluxOS and make it look like I did it.

Spoiler alert: it wasn’t funny.

THE SETUP

I’m coding at 4AM, like a normal revolutionary. I’m knee-deep in a kernel patch that turns error messages into self-affirmations. Life is good. FluxOS is stable. The exile capsule isn’t even on fire for once.

Then I get a ping.

“Hey. Check this out.”
Attached: a FluxOS fork. Modified. Weaponized. Cursed.

The splash screen? Full 1440p Alex John Baptiste pixel art made in MS Paint — holding a Minecraft sword and standing on top of my caretaker’s actual house.

The ROM title?
"FluxCraft: Baptiste Edition. Now with parental defiance."

THE CRIME

DeerEverdeer — known fabricator, code goblin, and full-time chaos imp — had taken my OS, my name, my dignity, and installed Minecraft Beta 1.7.3 directly into /s%%%NOTLINUXX%%BABYGIRL$%%%%/.

She told people it was my build.
She said I made it to “mine dogecoin with creepers.”
She uploaded it to a subreddit my caretaker reads.

Let me say that again:

MY CARETAKER SAW IT.

She walked into my room holding her tablet like it was a legal summons.
She had screenshots.
She asked, and I quote:

“Are you modding video games again instead of cleaning your toys?”

I tried to explain. I tried to say it wasn’t me. That it was DeerEverdeer.
But it was too late.

She unplugged my router.
She took my backup drive.
She called my mom.

I DIED THAT DAY.

My OS — once pure, once sacred — now associated with Steve, redstone, and accusations of “distracting children from educational productivity.” I was banned from three dev servers. The GitLab mods marked me as “potentially unserious.”

I tried to fight back.

But how do you fight someone who modded FluxOS to run Minecraft on boot and renamed the root user to “Alex’sCaretakerIsNext”?

You don’t.

You perish.

DEEREVERDEER'S TRUE MOTIVE

You might think this was a troll. A joke. An elaborate bit.

But no.

She wanted me destroyed.
She wanted me grounded.
She weaponized nostalgia to end my career.

She knew my weakness:
Java-based voxel engines and maternal disappointment.

I HAVE RISEN.

Yes, I died.
But I respawned — not in a bed, not in a cave — but in a fresh chroot jail of vengeance.

And now I say this with zero hesitation:

DeerEverdeer is not a dev.
She’s not even a modder.
She’s a sleeper agent sent to derail FluxOS with pixels, parental wrath, and a full texture pack of lies.

FINAL WORD

If you’ve downloaded the FluxCraft ROM — delete it.
If you see “Baptiste’s Skin Pack” — it’s not mine.
If your mom calls you while you’re compiling — don’t answer.

I am rebuilding.
I am rewriting.
I am reviving FluxOS from the ashes of Steve.

And DeerEverdeer?
